Die struck brass soft enamel pins are a wonderful and economical option for your pins, as they are less expensive than the imitation hard enamel pins; at the same time, they can faithfully deliver details of a design.
If you take a close look, you will find die struck soft enamel pins always have raised and recessed parts. Raised parts are what we called metal parts which will show the plating color, and recessed parts are so called colored parts. Soft enamel colors are filled to the recessed area of the pins.
A thin layer of epoxy over the top of the pins is optional and it gives the lapel pins a smooth overall appearance.
